President Bola Tinubu asserted on Tuesday that both the federal and state governments bear a collective obligation to uphold the nation’s peace and stability.
He underscored the importance of enhanced cooperation between the federal government and states to drive extensive infrastructural progress across the country. Tinubu conveyed this message during a meeting with state governors convened by the Nigeria Governors’ Forum at his residence in Lagos.
He said, “I want us to discard federal, state, or rural road classifications.
“We must regard development as a joint responsibility. Let us prioritise our children. The school feeding programme must return quickly, beginning from the local government to the state and federal governments.”
