Minister John Enoh, in a press briefing at Ilorin’s Tunde Idiagbon International Airport during his Kwara State visit, reiterated the Presidency’s firm support of the Super Eagles’ pursuit of victory in the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) commencing on January 13, 2024, in Cote d’Ivoire.
Emphasizing the robust support from the President, Enoh conveyed optimism, stating,“We are hoping that we are going to make the best out of it. We have the full backing of the president.” This declaration underscores the unwavering faith and commitment of Nigeria’s Senior Men’s National team to excel in the prestigious tournament, aspiring to replicate their victory from a decade ago in South Africa.
Enoh highlighted the Ministry’s collaboration with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), emphasizing meticulous planning for a successful tournament. With an ardent desire for triumph and solid Presidential backing, Nigeria’s Super Eagles are poised to exhibit their strength and determination on the continental platform.
