President Bola Tinubu signed the 2024 Appropriation Bill of N28.78 trillion into law at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. He arrived at his office from the airport at 2pm for the brief budget signing ceremony, accompanied by senior government officials.
Present at the ceremony were Senator Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate, and Hon Tajudeen Abbas, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, along with several key figures including the Minister of Finance, Mr Wale Edun; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila; National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Ganduje; and Chairman of the Senate Appropriation Committee, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, among others.
