TB Joshua Tortured Worshippers, Raped, Faked Miracles- BBC Report

Three years after his passing, allegations have surfaced against the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Temitope Balogun, TB Joshua, concerning allegations of rape and torture of some worshippers during his lifetime.

An extensive investigative report by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), conducted over a period of two years, revealed that five Britons accused TB Joshua of sexual assault and coercing abortions within a secluded Lagos compound, spanning nearly two decades.

Additionally, the deceased televangelist faced accusations of fabricating “miracle healings” that were broadcasted to a global audience of millions.

Among the alleged victims was a British woman named Rae, who, at 21 years old, abandoned her studies at Brighton University in 2002 and became a part of the church. For the subsequent 12 years, she lived as one of Joshua’s “disciples” within his labyrinthine concrete complex in Lagos.

“We all thought we were in heaven, but we were in hell, and in hell terrible things happen,” she told the BBC.

Rae recounted being sexually assaulted by Joshua and enduring a type of isolation for a duration of two years. The mistreatment was profoundly distressing, leading her to make multiple suicide attempts within the compound.

TB Joshua, the founder of SCOAN located in the Ikotun region of Lagos State, passed away a week before his 58th birthday on June 5, 2021, shortly after conducting a service.
