Kogi Man Ends 200-Hour Ironing Marathon At 142 Hours

Dauda Abdulfatai, who embarked on a 200-hour ironing marathon to surpass Gareth Sander’s 100-hour Guinness World Record, unexpectedly ended his attempt after ironing continuously for over 142 hours.

This decision was influenced by medical concerns and input from his support team. Starting the marathon last Wednesday in Lokoja, Kogi State, Dauda had received approval from the Guinness World Records via email.

Not only did he surpass Gareth Sanders’ 2015 record, but Abdulfattah El-Okene also managed to iron an impressive 2,249 garments during this remarkable feat.
