NUPENG Urges Govt To Maintain Progress At Warri Refinery

The NUPENG, National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, is pleased with the progress at the Warri refinery in Delta state. Comrade Chief Innocent Iyere, the Zonal Chairman of NUPENG Warri, expressed optimism that if the government maintains this momentum, the refinery could potentially resume production this year.

” The last time I was at the Warri refinery they were working. Production may resume there if they continue at the pace they are working. It is the government refinery that will help the citizens more.”

Additionally, Iyere urged President Bola Tinubu to ensure the timely realization of the projected operation of the three refineries, emphasizing that it would contribute to lowering the cost of petroleum products nationwide.
