In Agbor, Ika South local government area, Delta State, sorrow echoed as a young man in his early 20s reportedly took his own life in his apartment on Monye Lane. According to sources in the neighborhood, Victor, the young man, ended his life in response to an apparent threat from his girlfriend to end their relationship.
The neighbour said: “Victor loved his girlfriend so much and he was afraid she would leave him for another man. He hanged himself in his room.
“We heard he disagreed with the girlfriend, a fashion designer. And as usual, he was afraid she would dump him. We heard the girl even came to settle their differences and left.”
Waffi TV obtained information that the late Victor has been laid to rest in the Agbor cemetery.
