A private jet, carrying 10 individuals, including Very Important Personalities (VIPs), crash-landed in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State. The incident occurred on Friday at around 11 am at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport.
Firefighters and rescue teams from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) swiftly responded to the scene, and fortunately, there were no reported fatalities or casualties.
“It was a private plane from Abuja. It landed safely but overshot the runway. There was no casualty,” a spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Carol Adekotujo, said.
