Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, has declared that he will depart from the club when the season ends.
“I can understand that it’s a shock for a lot of people in this moment, when you hear it for the first time,” Jurgen Klopp said in an interview on the website of the Premier League leaders.
Klopp rose to prominence with Borussia Dortmund, challenging Bayern Munich with two league titles, a German Cup, and a European Cup Final appearance. After leaving in 2015, he quickly returned to management, taking over Liverpool from Brendan Rodgers.
Klopp’s tenure saw Liverpool reach the Europa League final in his first season, followed by strategic team-building, culminating in the end of their league title drought in 2020. Additionally, he guided Liverpool to three Champions League finals, securing victory in 2019 but facing defeats to Real Madrid in 2018 and 2022.
