The Naira showed strength against the US dollar, finishing the week impressively in the foreign exchange market on Friday.
According to FMDQ data, the Naira weakened to N891.90 per Dollar on Friday from N900.96 on Thursday, marking a gain of N9.06 in the local currency compared to the previous close.
Despite a decrease in forex turnover from $115.19 million to $100.97 on Friday, the Naira’s performance was noteworthy.
However, the parallel forex market witnessed a depreciation, setting a record low of N1,420 per Dollar on Friday, compared to N1,410 on Thursday.
