Reportedly, Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker, has been given the green light by the team’s medical staff to participate in the match against South Africa.
Having missed the trip to Bouake due to abdominal discomfort, Osimhen was scheduled for evaluation on Tuesday morning. If deemed fit, he would join the squad already in Bouake.
Sources in Abidjan indicate that Osimhen is en route to Bouake after being pronounced fit by the medical team.
The 25-year-old has been a consistent starter in all five of the Super Eagles’ matches in Cote d’Ivoire, registering one goal and one assist.
