Chief Favour Izoukumor, Director of Social Services at the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), will serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the inauguration ceremony of the Ijaw Publishers Forum (IPF) on February 29, 2024, at Canewood Hotel in Jakpa Road, Warri, Delta State.
Notable Ijaw leaders, stakeholders, government officials, and prominent youths have expressed admiration for the IPF’s initiative to establish Ijaw-focused media. Chief Izoukumor confirmed his attendance after receiving a nomination letter from the IPF earlier this week, demonstrating his support for this new media endeavor led by Ijaw individuals across the country.
