Members from seven House of Representatives committees convened with High Chief (Dr.) Government Ekpemupolo, commonly known as Tompolo. Additionally, they toured the detained vessels held by Tantita Security Services Limited at Oporoza on Friday.
During the inspection, they engaged with Captain Warriedi Enisouh, the Chief Operating Officer of Tantita. Subsequently, the legislators interacted with the apprehended crew members of the MT Harbor Spirit before proceeding to engage with Tompolo.
The committees involved encompass the Host Communities Committee, Niger Delta Committee, Gas Resources Committee, Environmental Committee, Petroleum Upstream Committee, Petroleum Mainstream Committee, Special Committee on Crude Oil Theft, and Petroleum Trust Committee. The delegation was led by Rt. Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, Chairman of the Upstream and Oil Theft Committee.
