Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, extended congratulations to HRM Emmanuel Sideso Abe I, OON, the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, on the occasion of his 16th coronation anniversary.
The governor’s commendation, conveyed through his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, praised the monarch’s 16-year reign as “marked by significant events and accomplishments.” Governor Oborevwori lauded the monarch for fostering peace and creating an environment conducive to investment within the Uvwie kingdom throughout his tenure.
He highlighted the monarch’s wise governance, which has contributed to the tranquility of the kingdom, and urged continued support from the people to sustain his transformative leadership. The governor expressed gratitude to the residents of Uvwie for their unwavering confidence, support, and collaboration with the monarch over the past 16 years.
He added; “King Sideso has been working diligently to keep the kingdom peaceful with the help of his Council of Chiefs and the youths, and I am grateful to our people for their support in helping him to restructure and position the kingdom to serve as Delta’s commercial hub.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I sincerely congratulate the Ovie of Uvwie, HRM Emmanuel Sideso Abe I (JP), OON, on his 16th coronation anniversary.
“The king, as a citadel of culture and customs, has been instrumental in fostering peace between the Uvwie people and their neighbours.”
The Governor prayed that the Almighty God would continue to provide him good health and wisdom so that he could continue to direct the kingdom’s customary affairs aright and make significant contributions to the advancement of the state.
