President Bola Tinubu has directed the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) to construct 5,000 Housing Units in each state across the Federation for individuals with low incomes. Dr. Matthias Byuan, the recently appointed Executive Director of Housing, Finance, and Accounts at FHA, announced this during a reception held in his honor at the residence of Sen. George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
According to a statement by Dan-Morgan Ihomun, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, the Executive Director affirmed that FHA, under the guidance of President Tinubu, would fulfill this directive, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration.
He said “FHA has been given the mandate by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to build 5,000 Housing Units in every state of the Federation for low income earners. And it will be delivered in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration.”
He encouraged Nigerians to support the administration’s efforts to improve the welfare of the people, emphasizing that despite initial challenges, Nigerians would ultimately benefit from electing President Tinubu. Dr. Byuan expressed gratitude to the President for appointing him and commended Sen. Akume’s leadership and support, acknowledging their role in facilitating his appointment.
