The Immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, Dcn. Kingsley B. Otuaro, has expressed profound condolences to the families of slain military personnel in response to the tragic loss of lives. The incident occurred during a peacekeeping mission aimed at resolving conflicts in Bomadi and Ughelli South Local Government Areas.
Otuaro vehemently condemned the heinous act, stating, “My deepest sympathy goes out to the families of the fallen soldiers. The brutality inflicted upon them deserves wide condemnation for their tragic deaths while on duty.”
Additionally, Otuaro urged the military to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure prompt justice for the perpetrators. “While we share sympathy with the Nigerian Army and the families of the deceased military personnel, this wicked act must be meticulously investigated, and the suspects prosecuted without delay,” he emphasized.
Expressing outrage at the abhorrent behavior, Otuaro emphasized the need for immediate action. “This terrible behavior must be properly examined as it is completely unacceptable. The guilty should be brought to court immediately; there should be no room for discretion,” he said.
