On Monday night, the Defense Headquarters revealed the identities of the Nigerian Army Battalion Commander, along with two Majors, one Captain, and 12 soldiers who were tragically killed in the attack on Okuoma community on March 14, 2024. Their names and images were posted on DHQ’s X account.
These brave individuals, who were part of the 181 Amphibious Battalion, were engaged in a peacekeeping mission to resolve community conflicts in Bomadi Local Government of Delta State when the tragic incident unfolded.
