During the Easter celebration, Comrade Reuben Izeze, the Honourable Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), joined PDP leaders and supporters in Ughelli South Local Government Area to celebrate at his Oginibo residence.
PDP members from various communities, including Ewu and Olomu kingdoms, attended the event, expressing gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for appointing Comrade Izeze.
Highlighting the occasion was a vote of confidence in Governor Oborevwori, his Deputy, Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Deputy Speaker, and Comrade Izeze, for their dedication to the M.O.R.E Agenda, which Chief Andrew Desi, the top PDP leader in Oginibo, commended for its positive impact on the lives of Deltans, describing the administration as compassionate.
The Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Sir Monday Onyeme, received a vote of confidence for his dedication and progress-oriented approach in assisting our visionary governor. Additionally, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor and Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, were praised for effectively fulfilling their constitutional duties and collaborating seamlessly with the governor to advance the M.O.R.E Agenda. Furthermore, Comrade Izeze was acknowledged for his transformative efforts in the Ministry of Works, spearheading the construction of durable and high-quality projects in alignment with Governor Oborevwori’s vision.
The motion received unanimous support from all present, with PDP member Mr. Ochuko Mejire seconding it and Hon. Luckyson Oniyan facilitating the voice vote. Notably, the people of Oginibo expressed immense admiration for Comrade Izeze, with Councilorship aspirant Comrade Christian Ushovwitode presenting him with a portrait in recognition of his impactful legislative tenure and outstanding performance as Honourable Commissioner for Works, Highways, and Urban Roads.
In his address, Comrade Izeze expressed gratitude to the attendees for celebrating Easter Sunday with him, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to unprecedented transformation in Delta State. He reiterated his dedication to advancing Governor Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda tirelessly.
