Caroline Celico, the estranged wife of AC Milan legend Kaka, has disclosed that she decided to divorce him because he was “too perfect.” The Brazilian socialite elaborated that while the 2007 Ballon d’Or winner provided her with a “wonderful family,” she couldn’t find happiness as she sensed “something was lacking.”
“Kaka never betrayed me, he treated me well, he gave me a wonderful family, but I was not happy, something was missing,” she was quoted on The Sun.
“The problem was, he was too perfect for me.”
Kaka and Celico married in 2005 but parted ways in 2015 after a decade together, during which they had two children, Luca and Isabella.
Following the divorce, Kaka found love anew with Carolina Batista, with whom he had two more children.
Celico subsequently wed motorcyclist Eduardo Scarpa Julião in 2021, and they are currently anticipating the arrival of their first child.
