Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended his warm wishes to Archbishop Goddowell Avwomakpa, the General Overseer of Christ’s Missionaries Crusaders Church, on the occasion of his 75th birthday anniversary today, April 20.
Governor Oborevwori praised Avwomakpa, who has served as the former Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and as the South South Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), for his exceptional and dedicated service to the church spanning over five decades.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, the Governor celebrated Archbishop Avwomakpa for his tireless efforts in spreading the gospel and for his significant impact on individuals, families, and society through his teachings.

He commended Avwomakpa’s intellect, unwavering pastoral dedication, and compassion, all of which have been instrumental in preaching the message of faith and repentance.
Oborevwori emphasized that Archbishop Avwomakpa has every reason to rejoice and offer gratitude to God for His blessings as he celebrates his 75th birthday and continues his life’s journey.
“On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta, I celebrate an illustrious son of Delta, Archbishop Goddowell Avwomakpa, on the occasion of his 75th birth anniversary.
“We owe you an eternal debt of appreciation for dedicating your life to serving God and humanity throughout the years.
“In a life that has seen you reach an enviable height of your episcopal career, there is great cause for you, members of your family, your many associates at Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church and well-wishers to thank God for His goodness upon you.
“As you deservedly celebrate your 75th anniversary, it is my prayer that Almighty God continues to bless you with robust health and more years of happiness in His vineyard,” Oborevwori stated.
Oborevwori joined family, friends and associates in celebrating the Oginibo-born Archbishop and God’s general, praying that the Almighty God would strengthen him and grant him good health in his continued service to the Lord’s vineyard.
