In a firm advisory released today, Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi emphasized that individuals who are convicted by the court, regardless of their sentencing terms, are considered “ex-convicts” under the law.
Taking to his official X platform, he wrote, “LEGAL MATTER: Anyone who has been convicted by the court, whether with jail term or fine, or both remains an ex-convict. Be law-abiding and avoid it. Ire oo.”
