Former Deputy Governor of Delta State, H.E. Dcn. Kingsley B. Otuaro, salutes Nigerian workers on the occasion of Workers’ Day, acknowledging their important role in the nation’s advancement.

He emphasizes the transformative impact of workers in propelling economic growth and societal progress.

In his statement, Otuaro highlights the collective responsibility towards fostering a prosperous and virtuous economy. He urges unity with government initiatives and emphasizes the importance of continuous dedication towards a brighter national future.

Part of the statement read, “As the immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of Nigerian workers in driving economic growth and progress. You have played a crucial role in steering the country towards better and brighter prospects.

“The path to a strong economy devoid of vices is not an easy one, but together, we must remain steadfast in our quest for a brighter future. We must continue to put in our best, join hands with the government at all levels, and work tirelessly to build a Nigeria that we can all be proud of.

Highlighting the commitment to workers’ welfare, Otuaro assures support from Governor Sherrif-led government and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in fostering an enabling environment for growth and prosperity.

“I want to assure you that your welfare and well-being remain a top priority to the administration of Governor Sherrif-led government, and I know that he will continue to work towards creating an enabling environment that supports your growth, development, and prosperity. Also, I know that the PDP will continue to push for policies that increase job opportunities, raise standards of living, and ensure a better future for all.

He extends appreciation to workers for their indispensable contributions, reaffirming their status as the backbone of society.
