Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, alongside his predecessor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, and Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor, were among the dignitaries who graced the wedding ceremony of Princess Esiso and David Anoro at Living Faith Church, Osubi, Okpe Local Government Area.
Other notable attendees included members of the House of Representatives such as Hon. Nicholas Mutu, Hon. Victor Nwokolo, Hon Ndudi Elumelu, as well as Senior Political Adviser to the Governor, Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, and Chief Ighoyota Amori.
The bride, Princess, is the daughter of the State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Kingsley Esiso.
Chairman of the occasion and immediate past Governor of the state, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa while congratulating the couple and the parents said, “I congratulate the couple and the parents for the success of this marriage. It is our prayer that God will truly bless you and consolidate you.
“Let us continue to pray for the couple and I believe they will have a successful marriage
“May God truly bless the marriage and their families. It is my hope and prayer that Anoro and the Esiso family will continue to be blessed,” Okowa prayed.
Earlier in his sermon, Resident Pastor, Living Faith Church, Osubi, Pastor Isaiah Salawu in his sermon titled “Keys to successful marriage” said suspicion, lack of trust, unforgiveness, anger, malice, keeping secrets from each other, poor communication, lies and relating more with parents and family members were killers of marriage and urged the couple to guard against such behaviors.
He emphasized that raising Godly children was the ultimate accomplishment in parenting and urged the couple to be ready for this significant responsibility.
