Hon. Festus Ashima in a bid to bring grassroots representation and development to Warri North, has thrown his hat into the ring for the upcoming local government elections.
With a track record of service and dedication, Ashima is rallying support for his candidacy.
In a statement shared with Waffi TV, Ashima emphasised on the importance of accessible leadership and delivering on the promises of democracy.

“A call for grassroot representation and development.
“Hon Festus Ashima is a grassroot man.
Served as hon,Councillor representing the good people of eghoro ward 4, warri north local government under Dr Michael Diden (Ejele), Served under Dr toritseju Ebosa .
“Served as S.A to hon commissioner for oil and gas delta.
“Served as PDP youth leader warri north.
“In all his services , he’s never left the people behind. As we all know all politics is local and so the people need a local government chairman who’s accessible and that can bring to his people the dividends of democracy.
“It is on this note that a call for total support for Hon festus ashima for warri north chairman in the forthcoming local government elections.
“This is a mandate we can all trust”.
The Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) had earlier announced that the local government elections is scheduled to hold on 13th of July.
