Former Vice President and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, welcomed Peter Obi, his former running mate and presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, at his residence on Monday.
Atiku shared pictures of their meeting on his verified social media page.
The post which showed Obi and Atiku exchanging handshakes was captioned, “It was my honour and privilege to host @PeterObi today. – AA”/
The meeting between the two prominent politicians sparked mixed reactions from internet users. Some believed Atiku and Obi were strategizing on how to unite and create a strong opposition force to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
