Manchester City has announced that goalkeeper Ederson will be sidelined for their final two matches of the season due to a fractured eye socket sustained during their 2-0 victory against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.
Stefano Ortega took over for Ederson in the closing moments of the match and is poised to fill in for the remainder of the season.
With their sights set on claiming the Double, City will rely on Ortega as they face West Ham on Sunday, aiming to secure their fourth consecutive Premier League title, and prepare to take on Manchester United in the FA Cup.
