In a spirited address to party faithfuls of the Warri South-West People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, urged members to maintain their support for the PDP. Asserting that no other party rivals the PDP in Delta State, Guwor encouraged steadfast allegiance and unity among the supporters.
Highlighting the local government elections slated for July 13, 2024, the Speaker expressed strong confidence in the PDP’s prospects, predicting a clean sweep of the chairmanship and all 20 councillorship seats.
He praised the leadership of the Chairmanship candidate, Chief Sylvester Oromoni, describing him as a committed and pragmatic leader poised to effectively represent the party.
Guwor called for active participation in the upcoming LGA campaign, emphasising the critical role of collective engagement in securing electoral success.

The meeting, held at the Speaker’s Ekpan residence, saw the attendance of prominent PDP figures including, LGA party Chairman, Chief Favour Izoukumo, Former speaker, Rt. Hon. JFK Omatsone, Chief Boro Opudu, The campaign coordinator, Hon. Raymond Pira, and the chairmanship candidate Chief Sylvester Oromoni, alongside his vice, Mrs. Christy Omamofe, the Media and publicity Committee chairman, Pst. Arex Akemotubo and hundreds of loyal party members.
