Liverpool and Manchester United are set to compete for Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman this summer.
Lookman has shone at Atalanta since joining two seasons ago, scoring 32 goals and providing 18 assists in 78 appearances. His standout performance at the end of last season, including a hat-trick in Atalanta’s 3-0 UEFA Europa League final victory over Bayer Leverkusen, has drawn significant attention.
Speculation suggests Lookman is considering a return to the Premier League two years after leaving Leicester City. According to Caught Offside, Manchester United and Liverpool are both interested in signing him this summer.
Liverpool, under new coach Arne Slot, are looking to bolster their attacking options. Meanwhile, Manchester United need more quality on the wings, and Lookman’s experience and talent could be a valuable addition.
