In a vibrant show of political unity, Chief Julius Takeme, chairmanship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), welcomed His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kingsley Esiso, Chairman of the PDP Delta State, and their esteemed entourage to the Burutu Local Government PDP Campaign Flag-Off/Rally.
In a statement, Takeme called on the people of Burutu to come out in large numbers and support the campaign. He emphasised the readiness to build on the established growth of the local government, achieved by successive PDP chairmen.
He said, ” It is with great pleasure that we welcome His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, alongside Olorogun Barr. “We call on the people of Burutu to come out en masse and join us in campaigning, for we are ready to build on the already established growth of our local government by successive PDP Chairmen. Let us unite and continue our journey towards progress and prosperity”.
