Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman and are prepared to offer close to €60 million. This comes after Manchester United expressed interest in Lookman this summer, also willing to bid €60 million, according to reports from Italy.
The Blues have been active in the transfer market, having signed Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham and agreed deals for Aston Villa’s Omari Kellyman and Barcelona’s Marc Guiu.
Chelsea are aiming to sign two attacking players this summer and have been linked with several names across Europe. They previously showed strong interest in Michael Olise but withdrew due to financial constraints.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea are ready to offer close to €60 million for Lookman. Liverpool and Manchester United are also reportedly interested in the 26-year-old winger.
Lookman had an impressive season with Atalanta, including scoring a hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen, making him a key player that the Serie A club is eager to retain.
