Chief Julius Takeme, the Burutu Local Government chairmanship candidate, expressed immense joy on Thursday as the turnout for the Burutu PDP campaign reached unprecedented levels. Takeme, who previously served as the Chairman of the Delta South Senatorial District until his victory at the PDP primaries, conveyed his deep gratitude for the overwhelming support.
In a statement to newsmen, Chief Takeme said, “On behalf of myself and my running mate, the Vice Chairman, Chief Georgina Evah, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to God Almighty for making the PDP Burutu Local Government Council campaign a resounding success. His grace and blessings have guided us every step of the way.”
Chief Takeme also extended his appreciation to the people of Burutu Local Government. “We express our deep appreciation to the wonderful and hospitable people of Burutu Local Government. Your overwhelming support and enthusiastic welcome for our party, the PDP, have been truly inspiring. Your presence en masse at our campaign events has strengthened our resolve and commitment to serve you diligently.”
He made a solemn promise to the citizens of the LGA , emphasizing his commitment to their welfare and well-being. “At this juncture, we want to specifically appreciate each one of you and make a solemn promise. We are committed to your welfare and well-being. Our administration will work tirelessly to ensure that the plans and promises of the PDP are fully executed within Burutu Local Government. We are dedicated to bringing about positive change, development, and prosperity to our beloved LGA.”
Chief Takeme further extended his gratitude to the Burutu Local Government PDP family for their invaluable support. “Your dedication and hard work have been instrumental in our campaign’s success. We promise to honor your trust by executing the party’s plans and initiatives with integrity and transparency.”
As the campaign progresses, Chief Takeme assured the people that their leadership would be characterized by accountability, inclusivity, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of all Burutu residents. “We believe in the potential of our community, and with your continued support, we will achieve great things,” he added.
