Warri Urban Ijaw Communities Forum In Delta State Urge Protesters To Avoid

Warri: The Warri Urban Ijaw Communities Chairmen’s Forum in Delta State has issued a statement urging protesters to forget the idea of protesting. Mr. Collins Kemefa, Chairman, and Mr. Adams Fullpower, Spokesman, have voiced their opposition to the planned August 1 protest against President Bola Tinubu’s administration, citing concerns about the ulterior motives behind the protest.

The forum highlighted that there were no similar protests during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, suggesting that the current organizers might have sinister intentions.

In their appeal, the leaders called on the youth and the general public to exercise patience and allow President Tinubu more time to address the nation’s challenges. They emphasized that meaningful change often involves difficulties and noted that the removal of subsidies is a tough but necessary step that no country has avoided without facing challenges.
