The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPC Ltd.) has urged the public, especially jobseekers, to ignore rumors about employment slots being for sale.
In a statement on Saturday, Olufemi Soneye, NNPC Ltd.’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, clarified that there is no truth to claims that the company is offering employment slots for purchase.
He labeled these claims as “fraudulent tactics” used by scammers to exploit unsuspecting applicants.
The company emphasized that as a responsible organization, its recruitment process is transparent and does not involve the sale of slots or any form of inducement.
NNPC Ltd. warned that anyone who pays for a job in the company does so at their own risk.
