The outgoing Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kingsley Esiso, PhD, officially handed over leadership to the newly elected Chairman, Chief Solomon Areyenka, on September 10, 2024.
Esiso, who led the party for eight years and four months, expressed deep gratitude to members for their steadfast support throughout his tenure. He also encouraged Chief Areyenka to adopt an inclusive leadership style, urging him to involve all members in the decision-making process.
He stressed the importance of unity and collaboration within the party, noting that ensuring inclusiveness is vital for the PDP’s continued success in the state.
The handover marks a significant moment for the party, as a capable and dedicated leader, Chief Areyenka, takes the helm to further the PDP’s mission and vision in Delta State.
