Hamza bin Laden, Osama bin Laden’s son, is reportedly alive at 34 and leading al-Qaeda, contrary to earlier reports of his death in 2019. Sources indicate he is based in Jalalabad, a known terrorist stronghold east of Kabul.
This revelation has sparked major concerns about the ongoing influence of Osama bin Laden’s legacy and the potential for increased violence and terrorism, according to the UK Mirror. Hamza, dubbed the “Crown Prince of Terror,” is believed to be secretly directing the terrorist network with his brother Abdullah.
Intelligence suggests the brothers have built a militant dynasty, with an estimated 10 major terror training camps in Afghanistan and ties to global extremist groups. The report also highlights that Hamza is operating training camps for fighters and suicide bombers, instructing them on how to evade capture and target Western interests.
“Hamza bin Laden is not only alive but actively involved in al-Qaeda’s resurgence, a fact well-known among senior Taliban leaders. These leaders engage with him, holding regular meetings and securing him and his family,” a report seen by the Mirror stated.
