The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has accused Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, of engaging in anti-party activities.
Wike alleged that Fubara backed the Action Peoples Party (APP) in securing the chairmanship position during the recent local government elections in Rivers State.
Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Tuesday, Wike maintained that he has never participated in anti-party actions. The two politicians have reportedly been at odds over control of the state’s political structure leading up to the election.
However, Wike said: “Today people say discipline Wike because he did anti-party, but I say that I did not do anti-party.
“Today, what happened? The governor sponsored APP and Bala Mohammed was the one who attended the swearing-in of the APP Chairmen.
“I said I wouldn’t support injustice and I have no apology to render to anybody because PDP had agreed on what to do but he refused.”
