The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi D. Guwor, alongside his wife, Mrs. Timiebi Emomotimi Guwor, on Monday paid a condolence visit to the Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area, Chief Sylvester Oromini, following the passing of his wife.
During the visit, Rt. Hon. Guwor, speaking to WAFFI TV, expressed profound sorrow over the tragic loss. He said, “I stand here today with a heavy heart to express my deepest condolences on behalf of myself and the Delta State House of Assembly. The loss of the chairman’s beloved wife is truly heartbreaking. She was not just a pillar in his life but also a beacon of strength and grace to everyone who knew her.”
The Speaker further acknowledged the significant role the late Mrs. Oromini played in supporting her husband both personally and in his service to the people. “The support and love of his wife were evident in every aspect of his journey. Such a loss is immeasurable. We want the Chairman to know that he is not alone. We will stand by him in this difficult time, offering our prayers and any support we can render,”Guwor added.
The Speaker concluded the visit with prayers for the eternal rest of the deceased and for Chief Oromini to find solace in the cherished memories of his wife’s love and resilience.
