Former Delta Deputy Governor Kingsley Otuaro Partners With Christ Embassy to Host a Transformative NYSC Conference

The immediate past deputy governor of Delta State, His Excellency Deacon Kingsley B. Otuaro, in collaboration with the Teens and Youth Ministry of the Christ Embassy Ministry Centre, Warri, organised a transformative conference for approximately 2,000 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.

The event, held at the Platinum Event Centre in Uvwie Local Government Area, was part of the *Global ReachOut World* initiative, incorporating the renowned *Rhapsody of Realities* devotional.

The conference focused on the transformative power of the mind, highlighting personal development and fulfilment through the Word of God. In his keynote address, H.E. Otuaro described the mind as a “divine gift” and a “limitless tool capable of shaping destinies and transforming nations.”

Speaking on the theme of the event, he urged participants to reject mediocrity and negativity, emphasising the importance of aligning their thoughts with God’s purpose. “Your mind is a battlefield,” Otuaro remarked. “The key to victory lies in filling it with noble, creative, and impactful thoughts. Think big, dream boldly, and act with integrity. Align your thoughts with God’s Word, and you will not only transform your life but also become a catalyst for national progress.”

He also expressed gratitude to his spiritual mentor, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (D.Sc., D.D.), for his impactful book *The Power of Your Mind*, describing it as a timely resource for this generation.

The conference had a profound impact, with approximately 200 corps members committing their lives to Christ. Many more pledged to sustain the lessons learnt by engaging deeply with the provided resource materials.

The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Zonal Inspectors of the National Youth Service Corps, former House of Representatives member Rt. Hon. Evelyn Oboro, and former Delta State Commissioner of Lands, Chief Dan Okenyi, among others.

Participants expressed heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome for the life-changing materials and to H.E. Otuaro for his inspiring address. The event reaffirmed the power of faith, education, and positive thinking in shaping the future of young Nigerians.
