Two individuals in the Agbarha community, Delta State, have tragically died, while two others are hospitalized following a drinking competition.
The contest, which reportedly offered a prize of one hundred thousand naira (N100,000), involved consuming full bottles of a substance believed to be alcohol. Witnesses claim the participants collapsed and died instantly after attempting to finish the bottles in one go.
Two others who participated in the competition are currently receiving medical attention in a hospital.
The police have yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
