Pep Guardiola is reportedly set to move out of his £8.5 million mansion in Barcelona following his separation from wife Cristina Serra after 30 years together.
The Spanish press revealed on Monday that the couple, who share three grown-up children, has decided to part ways. Guardiola has long stayed at the family’s luxury home, a four-storey property in Barcelona’s exclusive upper district, during his visits to the city from Manchester. However, his future base in Barcelona remains unclear.
Cristina is expected to continue residing in the property, which Guardiola purchased for €10 million (£8.4m) in 2021 through a company he co-managed with her. The house, formerly owned by ex-Barcelona player Rafa Márquez, boasts over 22,000 square feet of land, an 8,000-square-foot interior, and a large swimming pool.
Spanish media described the mansion as ideal for maintaining privacy during separation. Cristina relocated to the home in 2021, while Guardiola lives at Deansgate CitySuites in central Manchester when not in Spain.
The Manchester property, spanning two floors, offers a modern lifestyle with one- and two-bedroom apartments, private kitchens, and spacious living areas in a 16-storey building.
This development adds a personal twist to Guardiola’s storied career and life between two cities.
