Warri Southwest PDP Excos Pay Courtesy Visit To Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor

The Warri Southwest Local Government Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by its Chairman, Hon. Godwin Omadoye, on Friday 24th of January , paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, at his Ekpan residence in Uvwie Local Government Area.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Omadoye expressed the party’s pride in the Speaker’s exceptional leadership and representation of the people of Warri Southwest in the state legislature. He acknowledged Rt. Hon. Guwor’s commitment to fostering peace and development in the constituency and commended him for being a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration to the PDP family in Delta State.

“Your emergence as the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly is a clear reflection of your dedication, loyalty, and service to our great party and the people of Warri Southwest. We are immensely proud of your achievements and your ability to lead with wisdom and courage. Under your leadership, we have witnessed positive changes and initiatives that have uplifted our constituency and strengthened the unity of our party in the state,” Hon. Omadoye said.

The PDP Chairman also seized the opportunity to convey the party’s unanimous vote of confidence in the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, describing him as a leader who has demonstrated a clear vision for Delta State. He further extended the vote of confidence to Rt. Hon. Guwor as Speaker and the leadership of the Delta State House of Assembly, acknowledging their collective efforts in advancing the state’s development agenda.

“We are here not just to celebrate you, Mr. Speaker, but also to assure you and His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, of our steadfast support. The leadership you both have displayed has given our people so much hope, and we are confident that Delta State is on the path to even greater progress,” he added.

In response, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor expressed his profound gratitude to the PDP Exco for their visit and strong support. He reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing the interests of Warri Southwest in the state legislature, noting that his position as Speaker is an opportunity to amplify the voices of his constituents and deliver on the mandate entrusted to him.

“I am deeply honored by this visit and the vote of confidence passed on me, the leadership of the House, and His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. Your support strengthens my resolve to serve diligently and remain a bridge between our people and the state government. Together, we will continue to advance initiatives that will bring development and unity to our local government and the entire Delta State,” Rt. Hon. Guwor stated.

The Speaker also highlighted his readiness to collaborate with the party and other stakeholders to address pressing issues in Warri Southwest, ensuring that the constituency remains a model of peace, progress, and inclusivity in the state.

The courtesy visit ended with assurances of unity and collaboration between the party and its elected representatives in delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
