WaffiTV:Yesterday on thursday 24th January 2019 at around 8pm an armed robber was set on fire for the alleged murder of a young man after stealing said man’s mobile phone.
The occurrence occured close to 5 Junction, at Agbarho Community, in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was discovered that fortunes came up short on the presumed equipped burglar when a bystander raised caution drawing the attention of different people to the scene. The irate horde gave the presumed furnished burglar a hot pursue. All the while, two of his associates got away from the scene of the crime.
The speculated looter, in his effort to get away, shot sporadically into the air with a locally made gun until the point when he came up short on ammunition. He was captured and beaten before he was set on fire.
The Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka in a phone conversation on Friday morning, affirmed the report.
DSP Aniamaka said it was true, but we should demoralize “jungle justice “among our kin.”
Aniamaka reiterated that jungle justice is an absence of confidence in the “rule of law.”
