The leadership of the Common Men Assembly (CMA); a Pan-African organization, led by their chairman Sct. Jude P. Angodideke, paid courtesy visit to His Excellency, Deacon (Barr.) Kingsley Burutu OTUARO, the Deputy Governor of Delta State at his Country home (Okerenkoko) in acknowledgement of his uncommon strides and show of capacity in providing worthy support to the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur OKOWA.
The visit was also to familiarize the Deputy Governor with the activities of the organization in the State and also declare their position in support for good governance – which is a critical tool for improving the social and economic wellbeing of the citizenry which is one of the cardinal objectives of the CMA. Mr. Angodideke while speaking, said the organization is a grass-root non-government organization whose sole aim is to better the lives of the downtrodden.
Responding, the deputy governor, appreciated CMA and thanked them for their support and that as a government they are not ignorant of all that CMA is doing in their little way, he encouraged them not to relent as the future needs young men like them that are very focused, Otuaro concluded by saying his doors are always open for CMA as he has seen that they are progressive-minded.
The visit ended with H.E. Otuaro treating the members of CMA to lunch at his king sized dining.
