I won’t drop cases against police, Arabic words on Naira, Army logo – Omirhobo

Malcolm Omirhobo Esq. has vowed to continue with his lawsuits against the Federal Government, the police and the Nigerian Army.

He instituted the multiple cases against the Arabic inscriptions on the nation’s currency, Naira and Army logo.

The legal practitioner also dragged the police to court for approving hijab for women in the security agency.

Omirhobo became popular in June after appearing at the Supreme Court in Abuja dressed like a traditional priest.

The activist said his action was an exercise of his rights since the apex court approved female Muslims to attend schools with hijab.

In a Twitter post, Omirhobo informed the public that he was forging ahead with his opposition to pro-Muslim government policies.

“I will not drop my cases on the Arabic inscriptions on the Naira and Army logo and the Hijab for Female Muslim Police to please MURIC.

“They are not hate-inspired. The cases are patriotic public interest suits for the benefit of a secular progressive one Nigeria”, he wrote.

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) earlier accused Omirhobo of dispalying disdain for the adherents of Islam.

The director, Ishaq Akintola said he exhibited “pathological hatred for Muslims, their religion and the language of their faith”.

“Was it not the same Omirhobo who went to court over the existence of Arabic letters on naira notes?

“He challenged the use of Arabic on the Army logo…sued the Nigeria Police for approving hijab for police women.

“If he had his way, he would have every single Muslim Shugabad out of Nigeria.

“He hates the sight of Muslims, their Qur’an and the language of the Holy Book, Arabic”, Akintola alleged.
