WaffiTV: The Emir of Patigi in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara state, Alhaji Ibrahim Chatta Umar, is dead. Umar purportedly kicked the bucket in Abuja on Tuesday night after a concise sickness.
The report of the emir’s demise was contained in a message by Muritala Raheem, Personal Assistant to the Emir of Ilorin and the Chairman of the state’s Council of Emirs and Obas.
Reports have it that until his passing, the perished was the bad habit chairman of the state’s traditional council.
The remaining parts of the top of the line traditional ruler would be covered on Wednesday in Patigi by 2pm. In the interim, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has communicated stun at the demise of the emir.
Sulu-Gambari depicted the late ruler as profoundly regarded, including that his downfall was a goliath misfortune to humankind.
The emir in his sympathy message marked by the National Secretary of Shehu Alimi Foundation for Peace and Development, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, said that Umar was a genuine encapsulation of peace and image of solidarity to the whole Nupe speaking tribes in Kwara and past.
As per him, his demise will no uncertainty make a wide vacuum which can’t be overlooked so soon.
He further noticed that late Umar was until his demise the bad habit chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Council and had utilized his abundance of experience to advance the council through his various remarkable commitments.
“I received the news of his death with rude shock. Etsu Chatta Umar was a peace loving monarch whose penchant for the growth and development of the emirate and state at large knows no bound. We will surely miss him.
“I pray that Almighty Allah will forgive his shortcomings, admit him into Al-Janatul Firdaos and give the family and the entire people of Patigi Emirate Council the fortitude to bear the great loss,’’ he said.
