Troops of the 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, in collaboration with Sector 1 of the Joint Task Force (South-South), Operation Delta Safe (OPDS), have apprehended 183 suspected internet fraudsters during a major raid in Warri, Delta State. The raid, which took place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, was based on credible intelligence indicating that the suspects were operating from apartments allegedly serving as a cybercrime training centre. “The Nigerian Army remains committed to combating cybercrime and other forms of criminality that threaten national security,” the statement added.
