In a statement posted on its official X handle on Wednesday, the DSS urged Nigerians to disregard the claims, labeling them as fake. One such report alleged that the Service was accepting applications for roles such as electricians, plumbers, mechanics, and carpenters, targeting individuals with primary and secondary school certificates. The DSS emphasized that no such recruitment is taking place. The post read: “The public is advised to ignore any misleading or false information about the service’s recruitment process. Disregard such claims, please.”
