EFCC operatives have reportedly stormed the Green Legacy Hotel, situated within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library premises in Abeokuta, Ogun State, arresting several youths suspected of internet fraud. According to *PUNCH Online*, the raid took place in the early hours of Sunday during a pool party at the library’s premises. This operation comes just five days after operatives from the EFCC’s Ibadan Zonal Directorate arrested a suspected internet fraudster found with two locally-made pistols during a raid at K-Hotel in Itori, Ewekoro area of the state. That Wednesday operation led to the arrest of 55 suspects in total. A viral video of Sunday’s raid showed panicked youths fleeing as gunshots rang out in the background. The operatives reportedly arrested a number of youths and seized “more than 20 luxury cars and other valuable items.” Sources said the operation was carried out by the EFCC operatives from the Lagos Directorate.
