Good news for Nigerians as the Federal Government has approved a new policy called Medipool, aimed at reducing the cost of drugs and other medical consumables. This initiative was one of the key outcomes of the Federal Executive Council meeting held on Monday at the State House in Abuja, presided over by President Bola Tinubu. According to the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Ali Pate, Medipool will function as a group purchasing organization to ensure competitive pricing and serve as a central supplier of essential medicines and healthcare products nationwide
