Drama unfolded at the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex on Wednesday when Governor Siminalayi Fubara arrived, only to find the entrance gate locked. Our correspondents observed that security personnel at the complex shut the gates upon the governor’s convoy’s arrival. According to the security team, the gates were locked due to a lack of official communication between the governor and the Assembly. However, Fubara insisted he had informed Speaker Martins Amaewhule of his visit through a letter and had also attempted to reach him by phone since Tuesday.
